Dirty word- REPEAT!

No new episode this Tuesday- but I still figured I would post. I don't have too many opportunites left to post on this Lost blog so I need to live it up, right?

An Assignment for you:

1. Post a comment- down at the bottom of this post you will see (Comments). Click here.

If others have already beat you to it, read Lost friends comments on the left. Then you will see a box to your right- Leave a comment. Tell us all your thoughts. Then below you will need to copy some gibberish into the word verification box (this is so I don't get stuck with SPAM)

Next, Choose and Identity.

Kind of Funny....when you think about it....you can be Superman, or Bruce Wayne, or John Locke, or yourself. No seriously, if you don't have a Google Account, you can be "anonymous".

(If you want a google account, it's very easy. It will seem counterintuitive, but you can just use any email address that you use. Click here)

2. Need an idea for your comment- How about, "What I will do when LOST is over?" Is there any show that will replace this for us? V? Flashforward? Fringe?

3. What are you doing since you aren't watching LOST tonight? I can tell you that I am NOT watching 90210....but instead am forcing myself to go to Pilates. No Lost, no excuse. So check with me tomorrow and hopefully the peer pressure of all of you inquiring will force me to go!

If you want to read some Lost thoughts for next week's episode, "The Candidate" (kind of gives you chills, doesn't it?) Then click here

Namaste:)

"Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale..."

Apparently a tale of Burt Reynold's movies- classic! Frank Lapidus in "Smokey and the Bandit"

It seems it is the consensus of many out there in the world of the interweb that "The Last Recruit" was a filler episode. A filler episode filled with some interesting tid bits, zingers, and a path of where things may be headed.

Right off the bat- the camps merge, and it's time for Jack and FLocke to come face to face. (Suddenly Hurley doesn't feel as important- maybe he's fulfilled his purpose. Ruh, roh! Also, Hurley told Claire she looked "great". Really Hurley, have you seen that bee's nest on her head?) FLocke immediately mocks his Locke- how he was "stupid enough to think he was brought here for a reason"! I still go back to that very early episode where Locke came face to face with the "monster", or when the monster tried to drag him down the hole near the temple. Has Smokey been after him for awhile?

Jack seems strangely at peace. While on the Elizabeth, he realized he had to go back. He didn't make anyone else follow him. He just went. As the new man of faith, he knows the island isn't done with him. He has come full circle. Is he ready to be the new Jacob?

Confirmation that Christian was the Smoke Monster, which only makes sense. The Shack is where Jacob was supposed to live, where Ben went to "speak" with Jacob and took Locke there. But it wasn't ever Jacob. Wasn't the volcanic ash line around the shack "broken"? There are those who are saying that Smokey is a liar and how can we believe him. Christian appeared to Jack off the island as well. Maybe Smokey can project himself (a la Walt) or maybe it was just a vision of his dad, but I'm inclined to believe that the Christian we've seen on the island was in fact Smokey. If I'm wrong....I will....something. You can tell me.

All worlds come together at the hospital (like "General Hospital")- Sun who was shot recognizes Locke, Jack is called in to operate on Locke- will he fix him this time?
So sweet to see Jack and his son, David. Much debate was had at Lisa's house over David's mother and whether we will see her. I believe we will meet her- and she will be Juliet. And before the end of the series, Juliet will run into Sawyer and have their coffee shop date (I think that might be where Des and Penny are scheduled to meet up)

Kate seems like such a useless character this whole season. (I know many of you are not Kate fans.) How peculiar that she was able to get Claire on that boat? Will Claire actually be able to be reunited with Aaron?

Hey, where is Richard? Running crazy-eyed all around the jungle? Is Des still at the bottom of that well? Did Zombie Sayid do him in?

Oh- and finally, finally, after what seems like five seasons- Sun and Jin are finally together again! Will it last? Will they both survive the coming war?

Do you all know the big finale is two hours on SUNDAY, May 23rd? Who's taking Monday the 24th off :) ?

Ilana, we hardly knew you.....

So a week later, and I'm finally trying to edit this and get some discussion going before tomorrow night! I'm so on vacation time....I'm mad because I had some witty things to say, and they didn't get saved....guess you're stuck with whatever I come up with right now. A moment of silence for Ilana who blew up a la Dr. Arzt with the unstable dynamite. I was honestly shocked that she went kaboom! I had to ask JoEllen if I had missed something....because, ok maybe I wasn't totally paying attention! I promise to be good this week:)

Things I'm pondering.....

Des, Des, Des- According to Lisa (and her son), Des is the new Jacob. Ok- I'll play. Des certainly is the new Cupid as he is using the manifest to unite people like Hurley and Libby. Was Des on the list? Was he a candidate? I've been trying to look for screen shots of the cave ceiling or of the dial at the lighthouse, but no luck. We know that FLocke didn't seem to be so thrilled to that Des and his electromagnetic repelling self had returned. What's with throwing Des down the well? Not cool:(

I'm bothered by this "alive" not "alive" thing in the Sideways world. How can Libby, and Charlie, be alive in one world and remembering the island world, but dead in that world.

True to their word, the producers have been giving us answers. But does anyone else find them to be, a little anti-climactic? (I'm staying positive, I'm staying positive....) The Whispers- souls who cannot move forward- urghhh....more Purgatory. No, no, no !!!

Has Hurley "seen" any dead friends who actually died on the island? Why hasn't Libby appeared to him? Didn't he see Ana Lucia (and lots of Charlie and Mr. Eko) off the island?

Ok- now to the big stuff....
Reasons why Des hit Locke? I'm hearing all sorts of ideas

1. Des was after Locke after throwing him down the well

2. Des was trying to "hit" Locke and force him to remember the island (as he seems to be doing person by person). Locke's face seemed a bit revealing when he was hit.... (How great was Dr. Linus patrolling the parking lot for pedophiles? Funny!)

3. Des was trying to "hit" Locke and force him to switch realities to the island body where he would re inhabit his body bumping Smokey out.

Remember how "Good Locke" always called Hurley "Hugo" and Sawyer "James"- How did he know their real names? That was never explained. How long has he been he the almighty Smokey? Or could he have been chosen by Smokey as someone to hold on to long ago. Old Locke didn't ever want to leave the island- because it was his Paradise that gave him back his legs. Remember in "Cabin Fever" when Hurley found Jacob's cabin, and he saw Christian rocking in the chair in it- and then Locke's eye popped up in the window?

Jack and FLocke finally came face to face. Science vs. Faith vs. evil incarnate? And these two camps have merged.....hmmmm.....

Will Sun and Jin reunite? I know they're is supposed to be more deaths- and I'm starting to get nervous. :(

Did you love the Willy Wonka music in the preview? "There's no way of knowing, which way we are going....." Oohhh, I have shivers right now!

The Night I've been fearing has arrived....

So awhile back- I reported (click there) that the producers of probably my new favorite show of the year (next to Modern Family) must be conspiring against me- because Glee was going to be moving from Wednesdays to TUESDAYS at 9 when it returned in April.

Now I thought, April is really far away. So I pulled a Scarlett O'Hara, and thought, "I won't think about that now. I'll think about that tomorrow." And I haven't thought about it. I've been happily watching and recording Lost, so I could rewatch and blog when necessary.

Well the night has come- and I'm screwed! I have an old TiVo, and it doesn't tape two shows at once. (Something to be rectified over vacation, since my brother gave me one of his old TiVos and I'm going to put it in my room. Doesn't one person need two TiVos? Someone sign me up for some inpatient rehab, quick!)

So, I'm taping Glee which starts at 9:28, stupid Idol. Sorry, Stacey and Natalie. And I'm watching Lost, because I wouldn't be able to attend my grade level breakfast tomorrow morning if I didn't.

Life is so hard...............:)

All You Need is Love.....

So, now we know. This island isn't HELL, it is a CORK to keep evil in, but what this show is all about is LOVE. Sigh.....

What a crazy *&#@%$ episode! We've been waiting and waiting for our Des episode and he certainly didn't disappoint!

Weren't you so happy for Des at first? Life was good. He was traveling the world, living the life, and was the right-hand man of good ol' Charles Widmore. What a great twist to have Charles married to Ellie, and an actual father to Daniel Farraday. Fisher Stevens was good, and creepy, as Des's L.A. chauffeur. Loved the Charlie/Des dynamic. When Charlie said that he had "seen" his other life, and that he was a beautiful blonde, I knew he meant Claire. Did your head spin when Charlie forced the car into the water (at the marina where I think Dylan's dad may have "died" on 90210)? Did you gasp when he held up his hand and said "Not Penny's boat". Ahhh.....It was then that I knew this episode was amazing!

I think we might have some answers. Sideways world is not real-but is it what many of them would like to imagine their lives to be. Maybe they aren't happy or perfect, but they are some other version of what their life could've been. Everyone on some level in their Sideways is realizing that this is not reality- a la the mirror/reflective shots. Desmond is the first to put it all together. Oh, and Daniel Farraday knows something. Think back to "The Constant"- Daniel always has his notebook (in which he wrote "Desmond is my constant"), and Des has his Penny. In this case, she is Penny Milton. (JoEllen enter all comments about John Milton's Paradise Lost here.) My prediction- these worlds will merge, and everyone ends up back on the Island just in time for "the war".

(Hold on- Charlie is dead. Why is he alive in that Sideways- or was he only alive because it was Des's faux reality?)

Des starts to put things together and decides to have Fisher Stevens get him the manifest from Oceanic 815-then wakes up on the island. Is anyone else surprised at how much of this season this Sideways thing is lasting? Opposite of my feeling from last season. I thought it would take them longer to get back to the island, than it did.

Ruh roh! Scary Sayid has come to "save" Des. Crispy Des goes off with him! Des is going to make it through, right?

new episode- "Everyone Loves Hurley"- the other side to "Everyone Hates Hugo"
Who will we see? Libby? Michael? Will Hurley be able to lead everyone to safety?

Josie's Constant

I was remiss in my previous post in spending enough time actually discussing "The Package".

I apologize- I was rushing to put my rough notes into an actualy post before Sunday turned into Monday.

I believe I actually predicted Des being the package a couple posts back- go me!
Why does his father-in-law have him locked up? Where's Penny and little Charlie?
Tonight's episode is called "Happily Ever After". Is it too much to hope that Des will have a happily ever after? I'm with Josie in hopes that he survives to the finale. Or there will be some serious mourning going on at school tomorrow:(

What did Widmore mean when he told Jin that if Smokey gets off the island that both of their daughters will "cease to be"?
I couldn't imbed the video- but you must watch the first part of "Totally Lost"
Scroll to the bottom
Very funny- and it seems many of our thoughts were shared by others! (or Other others)
Also- if you didn't see in Comments from last time- Chris posted this hystertical link
I know what I want for my birthday!

This episode of Lost was brought to you by....

Seriously- how many commercials were in this episode? They really broke up the flow- know what else was annoying? The little "V" icon in the bottom of the screen combined with the local New England flooding news, made the Korean subtitles of "The Package" difficult to read.
When we had seen Sun and Jin getting stuck in customs in "LAX", some sharp eared people caught the fact that Sun was referred to as "Ms. Paik" and not "Mrs. Kwon". Now we know for sure- they aren't married in this Sideways world. What is the significance of this? My guess is that it is to show us that Sun is not a Kwon and therefor can not be the "Kwon"candidate from the cave.

On the island, Sun and Jin are still trying to find their way back to each other. Jin realizes the danger of "FLocke" and plans to take off- too bad Widmore's people get to him first. Why take him? And why bring him to Room 23 where Alex's boyfriend Karl was held and subjected to all those crazy messages (which I believe included some stuff about Jacob)?

FLocke goes off to see Sun. I loved Sun back at her garden- we'd almost forgotten about that! Sun isn't buying what Smokey is selling- she runs, he chases. Shouldn't it have been easier for him to catch her? (How great was Sawyer when he said, "can't you just turn into smoke and fly off this island- oh, no that would be crazy!" Sun hits her head, and loses her English. What's up with that? What does this mean?

What is this sonic fence that Widmore's crew is setting up- the one that kept Smokey out of New Otherton- and where do i get one? Brookstone? Is the sonic fence, related to the electromagnetic force? is FLocke somehow related to the electromagnetic force?

Deaths are coming- and not insignificant deaths like Ilana or Zoe
Creepy how FLocke said almost all the names had been crossed out- implied that he neededthem all together, when in reality he's bumping them off. Also going to let his "pet" Claire kill Kate. Is Kate expendable? will she really not make it to the end of the series?
Can Sayid and his soul be saved?
Who will we really be upset to die?

Viewer Mail- My dear Mommy, Esq. mentioned in comments that she is wondering about the whereabouts of Rose and Bernard and that they did not time travel. I disagree. They time travelled too they were just living their "retirement" in peace they way they wanted, with Vincent. Are they Adam and Even skeletons found in caves?
